Welcome to November with the cold, crisp mornings and the beautiful low sunrises. It is sometimes worth the clocks going back to witness these early starts of the day.
Last month was very busy with teaching and 1:1 readings and with Half Term fun and the excitement of Halloween, I felt in need of some spiritual TLC. What does this look like for me?
Crystal healing and meditation. I enjoy choosing the crystals I am drawn to and placing them in a grid on and around me, for a lovely half hour healing treatment. I usually call in my angels and healing guides to bring me back into balance and raise my energy whilst sending me healing. Lighting a candle, using essential oils (frankincense, lavender and lemongrass is an amazing blend) with some relaxing music, all add to the ambience. Sitting regularly in meditation and committing to a regular spiritual practice always helps to deepen your connection with yourself, your spiritual team and your loved ones around you.
Listen to your body. We all know when our rhythm is out of kilter as we feel disconnected, emotional and life doesn’t flow as it usually does. We are gifted intuition to guide us emotionally so listening to your body is so important as is catch those negative thoughts. Allow your energy to flow in any direction you are called in. Have fun, see friends and family, be outside in nature, laugh, do what bring you happiness because this month as the nights draw in, the darkness can affect your mood. Why let it sneak up on you when you can use foresight and a solid spiritual practice to shine light into the darkness, like the fireworks which will brighten up the skies on the 5th.

Another important event I will be remembering this November is the anniversary of my beautiful Dad’s passing on the 9th. We may all be lighting a candle on the 11th for Remembrance Day, but for me, the 9thwill be a celebration of my Dad’s life and the way he touched so many with his love, kindness and generosity. He was a true inspiration and a light in my life, which I still hold for him.
Remembrance Day for me is also about remembering ALL our loved ones, not just the War Hero’s, although this is also extremely important too. All in all, it is a reflective time of love, pride, bravery and honour.
Let this month be a month for honouring the past, learning from our mistakes or challenging situations and using this to be grateful for what we have in the present. This becomes your strength to move forward, knowing you are in safe hands, spiritually.
Visualisation – lighting a candle of love

· Choose your favourite essential oils to burn
· Light a candle - pink or green to represent love
. Call upon your loved one to sit close
· Sit quietly and watch the flame flicker and dance
· Allow happy memories to flood into your thoughts
. Feel their love and support envelope around you
· Give thanks for all the precious times you shared
· Receive any guidance they send you with grace
This month’s wisdom is another animal guide who climbs in sleepily to grace us with her message. The Koala is a quiet, empathetic nocturnal animal who spends much of her sleeping up high in trees, eating eucalyptus leaves.
Koala's slow pace reminds us to wind down and spend some time in solitude, giving ourselves the opportunity to detoxify emotionally. Sometimes we need to give ourselves the space to simply be in our own thoughts, pursue activities which relax the mind, body and soul. Meditation is just one suggestion, but finding your inner joy will exactly what your body craves for – painting, drawing, cooking, dancing etc. Pay attention to what you are eating too, make sure you are filling your body with the nutrients it needs or indeed try a detoxification diet for a couple of day – anything to kick start your metabolism. Eucalyptus leaves have many medicinal benefits and the essential oil is perfect for clearing your chest, easing your breathing – excellent for the winter colds, flus and Covid. Using in around the house in a diffuser will ease nasal congestion but be cautious as some people can be allergic to it. Use in moderation!
Allow Koala’s wisdom to bring a sense of calming self-love this November, there is no need to rush, this is a month for reflecting, slowing down and focusing on your emotional, physical and spiritual well-being.
Crystal of the Month
Silver Leaf Jasper
Silver leaf jasper is a beautiful chalcedony which brings gentleness, relaxation and healing to the wearer. Holding a piece will surround you with tranquillity, comfort and compassion. It is also an excellent protection crystal for travellers, both physical travelling and astral projection.
Silver leaf jasper is also extremely grounding, enhancing your strength and boosting your willpower. Linking in with the Earth Star, this crystal will helps you to find your truthful path, provide you the strength to pursue your dreams and fulfil your soul mission.
The silver leaf crystal is often a crystal the children in my Calmer Kids gravite towards, this says a great deal about its grounding and nurturing energies.
What I am offering this month

Collective Healing - This wonderful group, open to everyone, meets every Thursday on Zoom at 6pm for 20 minutes to receive and send distant healing. Healing sent can be for people, animals, personal situations, global situations or the for the planet. This is a FREE session. The more people who can join in and send healing together, increases the energy and the power of the healing. Remember, you also receive healing yourself!
