Taking Care of Your Aura

Updated: Nov 25, 2020

The aura is an an electromagnetic energy field that surrounds people, animals, and things which extends all around our body. It represents your physical, mental, emotional as well as spiritual energies and is often seen a mix of fine coloured frequencies where each colour holds its own interpretation, linking in with health, character or energy which we can then interpret.

The vibration of the aura is very fine and subtle and is forever changing depending on our emotions, experiences and spiritual development.

The aura can be seen using our intuitive sense of clairvoyance, clairsentience or clair-knowing by healers, psychics or sensitive people. Nowadays you can also use photography, aura graphs which can capture you aura in a photo.

Have you ever walked into a room and sensed the awkward atmosphere? Or when meeting someone new, you just experienced a particular feeling about them? This is the persons aura you are tapping into because our auras send positive or negative vibes which anyone can pick up on.

There are 7 auric layers, which correspond with the 7 chakras.

1st - The Etheric layer , which is closest to the physical body (physical health)

2nd - The Emotional layer

3rd - The Mental layer (your ego, values, and beliefs)

4th - The Astral layer (connected to the heart chakra)

5th - The Etheric Template (represents the blueprint of the physical body)

6th - The Celestial layer (intuition)

7th - The Divine/Causal layer

No two auras are exactly the same and as we are constantly shifting our vibrations due to our thoughts and emotions, our own auras are always changing. When we are low in energy and feeling down, our aura naturally shrinks, however when we are happy, it expands and glows. Spiritual people will often have gold or silver in their auras as a sign of connection with the Divine/Source.

Our aura is like a suit of armour, keeping us in tip top shape physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. Understanding how we can deflect negative energy, we can influence our well-being. This means clearing away any negative energy that has built up, re-enforcing your connection to the planet and the positive energy around you, recharging your batteries and protecting yourself as best you can from the negative people and situations you may find yourself in. You will find if you raise your own energy vibration high enough, you will not only feel happier, be healthier and more content, you will also notice a change in those around you too like a ripple effect.

Here are just some of the ways to encourage a more vibrant and energetic you. The first few you can do yourself without the need for any special tools. You can then try the other ways as and when you feel drawn to them.
